Mott Haven Notes.

J. T. Roche, Jr., '99, who injured his leg in the 100 yards dash in the dual games with U. of P., has been confined to his room since that time. The nature of the injury is not positively known. At first it was thought that he had ruptured a blood vessel, but as there has been no swelling or discoloration of his leg, he probably stretched or strained one of the muscles. This injury will prevent him from running in the Yale games next Saturday, but it is possible that he will be able to compete in the intercollegiate games in New York.

Yesterday afternoon, trials were run in the 220, to select men for the Yale games to be held in New Haven next Saturday. The rest of the trials will probably be run off today.
