A movement is on foot to organize a Yale alumni club in New York City.
Yesterday afternoon, S. W. Lewis was elected temporary captain of the Freshman nine.
J. Holden, who was substitute on last year's '99 crew, came out for the '99 Weld crew yesterday.
The Weld class crews elected the following captains yesterday: '97 and graduates-T. Nichols L. S., '98, H. McBurney; '99, Pierpont Davis; 1900, T. W. Pierce.
Previous to the 'Varsity practice yesterday, Mr. Lehmann had Perkins and Wrightington, Thomson and Goodrich out in the pair oar. The crew then rowed two stretches up stream with a twenty-minute rest. In the second stretch Moulton took Hollister's place at three.
