The promptness of the Tennis Association in making ready the courts on Holmes and Jarvis Fields, will be thoroughly appreciated by those who wish to take up the game in the spring. There is always a large number of men in Cambridge who, for lack of time and for various other reasons, cannot go in for the heavier athletics, and for such men tennis affords light out-of-door exercise in a very convenient and pleasant form.
