McBurney and Dubois, of the '98 class crew, and Simonds and Watson, of the '99 squad, have joined the Weld crews.
G. McC. Sargent '99 has begun work with the weight men on the Mott Haven. He is the sixth new man to come out since the last call was issued.
The '99 crew will use their shell today for the first time. Boardman will probaly go in at stroke, in which case Marvin will row at 6. Swift will then move up to 2, displacing Richardson.
The 'Varsity crew rowed two stretches up stream yesterday afternoon. Dr. J. Williams White, of the U. of P., Dr. Brooks, and Webb, the Worcester boat builder, watched the crew from the launch.
By the wills of Miss Eliza A. Haven and of her sister Charlotte M. Haven, both of Portsmouth, N. H., Harvard College receives two bequests of twenty thousand dollars each. Miss Charlotte M. Haven also leaves one thousand dollars to the Harvad Benevolent Society. Both wills were probated yesterday.
