1900 Weld rowed a half mile race with the Union Boat Club eight yesterday and won by over a length.

S. Hollister '97, who has been absent from College on account of ill health, returned yesterday afternoon and replaced Sullivan in the '97 boat.

Twenty-three Harvard men accompanied the First Corps of Cadets to New York, where the corps participated in the ceremonies at Grant's tomb.

The '97 crew practiced starts with the 'Varsity yesterday afternoon and then the two crews paddled about a mile. The 'Varsity had a trifie the better of the starts.

Mr. Lehmann has accepted the invitation of the Pierian Sodality to attend a promenade concert to be given for him and the 'Varsity crew at Brattle Hall, May 21.

The crew of the Worcester High School has challenged the Freshman crew to a race some time after the class races. It is undecided whether the challenge will be accepted or not.

In order that the Harvard-Yale baseball game may take place as usual the day before Class Day, the Yale management has consented to change the date from Thursday, June 24, to Wednesday, June 23.

The Freshman Glee, Banjo and Mandolin Clubs have arranged to give three concerts this spring. The first will be given in Brattle Hall, Cambridge, on May 14, the second in the Town Hall at Concord on May 21, and the third either at Copley Hall, Boston, or in Worcester, on May 28.
