The Sophomore dinner, which takes place next Tuesday, May 4, at the Hotel Vendome, promises to be an affair of unusual success. About three hundred men have already signed the blue-books at Leavitt's and Memorial, and it is expected that a large number will sign in addition.
President Donald will make the opening remarks and will then leave the further charge to Toastmaster Percy M. Jaffray. The speeches will be between the courses in the following order: William H. Conroy, "The Class;" J. F. Perkins, "Rowing;" R. deKay Gilder, "The Press;" B. H. Dibblee, "The Crew;" P. D. Haughton, "Baseball;" P. G. Carleton, "Debating;" J. F. Brice will read a poem on "The Class." The '99 Glee Club will also sing a number of selections.
