The cricket team had their first outdoor practice yesterday afternoon. Adams '97 coached the fielding. There was no batting practice.
The Harvard Lacrosse Association has decided to engage a Canadian coach for the team, who will give special attention to stick work. This coach will be assisted by Dr. Reimer, H. M. Williams '85 and F. C. Hood '86, the latter two of whom were captains of intercollegiate champion teams.
Boardman and Moulton, substitutes on the University crew will row with their class crews today. The addition of these two men will materially strengthen both the Sophomore and Junior crews, and it is thought a better plan to have them rowing in the eights under coaching than in the pair-oar without it.
