Yesterday afternoon, F. L. Higginson, of Boston, who has been acting as temporary captain, was elected regular captain of the Freshman crew. Higginson prepared at Groton.
The '99 dinner committee met last night in Weld 6 and decided upon the provisional date May 3. P. M. Jaffray was elected toast-master. M. Donald and W. H. Conroy were elected to form, with the toast-master, a sub-committee to arrange for the toasts and speakers.
Professor F. W. Taussig will give a talk at a meeting of the Harvard Union Monday night at 7.30 in Sever 11 on "Lessons of the recent Yale debate." Members of English 10, 30 and 6, as well as members of the Forum and the Freshman Debating Club are invited to attend.
