Wilson Ward Wormelle, who died Saturday last, graduated from the Boston Latin School in 1890, after which he held a position in the Boston water works at the Reservoir for three years. He then entered Boston College in '93, where he took a scholarship and won a prize for high standing in mathematics.
Wormelle entered Harvard as a Sophomore in the fall of '94. He chose courses preparatory to law and teaching and though earning his living at the same time soon established a reputation as an ambitious and able student. He was a member of the executive committee of the Old South Historical Society in which he had won two prizes.
