The 'Varsity barge which is being built by W. H. Davy will be ready by March 17, when the contract calls for it. The barge is an eight oared boat, modelled from the '98 barge, excepting that it is 3-4 of an inch less in depth and is side-decked. She measures exactly 53 feet.
All the class shells are now finished except for the outriggers, which will be put on this week.
