The first regular performance of the French play, "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme," in Brattle Hall last evening, was a decided improvement on the dress rehearsal. The play went off smoothly, with but few promptings, and was on the whole meritorious.

250 men have bought tickets for the Junior dinner to be held at the Vendome tonight. There are still a few tickets left at Leavitt and Peirce's which will be on sale until 5 o'clock this afternoon. No dress suits will be worn at the dinner and no seats reserved except for the speakers.

At a meeting of the Tennis Association last evening the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, H. J. Holt '98; vice-president, M. D. Whitman '99; secretary and treasurer, E. R. Marvin '99. Directors: From '98, H. J. Foster; from '99, W. M. Scudder; from 1900, H. Ward.
