The Glee, Banjo and Mandolin Clubs will give a concert at the Colonial Club this evening.
Dr. A. C. Coolidge has presented the College Library with a collection of Russian books on Nihilism.
The Freshman Glee Club will give its first concert on Thursday evening, April 1, in Lorimer Hall, Boston, for the benefit of the Tremont Temple Orchestra.
The challenge of Leland Stanford University for a team race at Chicago will probably not be accepted, for the Chicago Athletic Club has been obliged to postpone the date of the games till May 10, the week of both the Pennsylvania and Yale games.
The Harvard Rifles will probably not be organized again this year, owing to some trouble about paying for the drill hall. A challenge from Technology for a competitive drill has been received, but Lieutenant Robinson has been obliged to decline it.
Four new men have come out to try for the weight events on the Mott Haven Team. They are T. E. Catlin '99, W. A. Boal '00, J. D. Barney '00, and J. N. Trainer '00. As the men have only been out three days it is too early to tell anything about them, but as they are all large and strong they should develop well.
