The regular weekly meeting of the Christian Association was held in Holden Chapel last evening. E. W. Capen led, taking as his text Mark XII (23-34). "The great commandments." The meeting was well attended and the following men took part; G. Gleason '97, H. Stanley '97, D. Fales '97 and J. Gregg '97.

Next week the new officers of the association take up their duties. After the meeting the regular Thursday evening Bible class was held in 42 Hastings. This class is in the life of Saint Paul and is led by W. W. Crawford Gr.

Subscriptions are being taken to pay the salary of a general secretary for the association. This office will greatly strengthen the whole work of the association, and it is hoped that the subscriptions may be readily filled.
