Professor D. G. Lyon gave the second lecture in a course of five on "The Old Testament in the Light of Recent Discoveries at Nineveh and Babylon," Tuesday afternoon, in the parish room of the Church of our Saviour, at Longwood.
The chief object of this course of lectures is to call attention to the importance of the Semitic Museum of the University now housed in the Peabody Museum building, and to encourage financial aid for its development. It is hoped that the collections of the department may soon be housed in a separate building of their own.
