The first shot-putting contest of the H. A. A. will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Gymnasium.
Captain Vincent and Graduate Manager Bingham stopped at New Haven yesterday to arrange the date for the dual games with Yale.
The annual dinner of the Southern Club will take place this evening at Young's Hotel. Mr. Walter H. Page, editor of the Atlontic Monthly, will be the guest of the club.
Harvard will enter three relay teams at the B. C. A. A. games March 11, at Mechanics Hall. One will race Georgetown, another Williams, and a Freshman team will meet a team from Exeter Academy.
Last night at the meeting of the Harvard Engineering Club the following officers were elected: President, S. S. Montague '97; Faculty adviser, Professor I. N. Hollis; secretary, J. A. Butler '98; treasurer, J. G. Clarke '98.
S. R. Wrightington '97 has been elected an editor of the Monthly, and R. S. Dunn '98 has been made secretary of the board. Hereafter all contributions for the Monthly should be sent to the secretary of the board. Hereafter all contributions should be sent to the secretary, 53 Ware Hall.
