The Junior squad has been now reduced to two crews, both of which yesterday went through the regular preliminary work and then rowed on the machines. The coaching was done by Huidekoper '98 and Captain Adams.
A different plan of training has been adopted from that previously in use.
The men now train strictly for one week, alternating then with a week during which they are allowed greater liberty. By this system it is hoped to keep the men in fair condition until the nearer approach of the races, when of course the training will become more severe.
The ice is now fast disappearing from the river and provided the weather continues warm the crews ought to get on the river within the next two weeks.
The first crew rowed in the following order: Stroke, Dobyns; 7, Hurley, Marvin; 6, Ames; 5, Butler; 4, Wadsworth; 3, Barnes; 2, A. H. Rice; bow, J. Adams.
