At the cricket meeting in the Trophy Room last evening the following 18 candidates came out: J. B. Rorer '99, H. H. Kidder '99, W. S. Dunham '00, R. Haughton '00, M. H. Douglass '97, C. D. Drew '97, D. Fales, Jr., '97, T. W. Clarke '99, C. H. Morrill '00, C. T. Dalton 1G., J. S. Barstow '98, R. S. Holland '00, J. N. Trainer '00, G. H. Wilder '00, F. M. Newton L. S. S., F. Rawle, Jr., L. S. S., G. B. Hastings '97, C. H. Bell Sp. A number of the members of last year's team were also present.

Hours were arranged for practice in the cage in the Gymnasium, on matting laid on the board floor. The new men will receive individual coaching in batting from members of last year's team.

The members of the first team will be allowed to wear the letters H. C. C. on their sweaters.
