Professor W. M. Davis delivered an illustrated lecture on "The Scope of Geography" at Tufts College on Friday evening.
The Yale Debating Union has elected the following officers: President, C. H. Studenske, Pueblo, Col.; vice-president, H. Bingham, Honolulu; treasurer, H. W. Fisher, New Haven. George W. Smalley, Yale '53, will deliver the next of the Union lectures.
Five new prizes have been founded at the University of Pennsylvania by Henry C. Terry, a prominent member of the Philadelphia bar, in memory of his son, Willis Terry. Four of these prizes are to be awarded for the best standing in each of the four college classes, and the fifth for the best essay by a member of the Senior class.
