Book Review.

"The Juggler," by Charles Egbert Craddock, (Houghton, Mifflin and Company).

This author (whose real name is Miss Murfree) has again come before the public after a silence of several years, and again writes of that region which she has already made familiar to the reading public-the Tennessee mountains.

It is a curious story with an unreal situation. The mountains with their queer people and customs are faithfully and vividly painted, however, and analyses of character are masterly. One feels though that they somewhat overbalance the story.

At the last meeting of the Harvard Club of Indiana, held at Indianapolis, Dr. Edward F. Hodges '71 was elected president, and Mr. James A. C. Cotter '93, vice-president.
