The annual cross country run was held yesterday afternoon and resulted in a victory for H. B. Clark 1901, with O. W. Richardson '99, second, and A. W. Blakemore L. S., third. The run was over the regular course, out Garden street, through the Clay Pits, around Fresh Pond, and back by way of Mt. Auburn and Brattle streets, a distance of a little over 5 miles. The time, 31m. 20s., was rather slow, owing to the unwillingness of any one to set the pace. As D. Grant M. S., did not know until too late to take part that the race was going to be held yesterday, he will be given a chance to go over the course against time this afternoon. If he beats Clark's time he will be given first prize, while Clark and Richardson will receive second and third respectively.
