The 1901 men were out yesterday for their regular practice in catching punts and tackling, the ends being given special coaching in getting down the field on kicks. Daly, the regular quarterback fractured his collar bone in the game with '99 on Wednesday and will not rejoin the squad for some time. Hallowell has gone from left end to quarter, Whitney to right end, and Shaw or Lawrence from right to left end. Hallowell played quarter for a short time last year on the Hopkinson team. Fincke, who has been laid up for about two weeks, was out and played quarter on the second eleven. Taylor, a promising halfback, has recently joined the squad.

After the regular practice, the second eleven, with Hallowell as quarter, played a fifteen-minute half with the Law School team and won by a score of 12 to 0. Shaw kicked both goals which were difficult.
