The Shakespeare Club met last night and read Othello. P. B. Sawyer '98, and J. P. Cotton '99, were elected members.

Henry Marion Howe, A. M., S. B., who has lately been elected professor of metallurgy at Columbia graduated from Harvard in the class of '69.

The game between Brown and the Carlisle Indians which was scheduled to be played in Providence, November 13, has been transferred to the New York Polo Grounds.

Carlisle will play Pennsylvania on Saturday. Last week Carlisle ran up a score of 82 against Gettysburg. Pennsylvania was able to make only 57 against the same team.

The Association of Collegiate Alumni on Friday ratified the action of the Board of Directors, admitting to membership Radcliffe College, the University of Chicago, the University of Minnesota, and Leland Stanford, Jr., University.
