We wish to thank the House Committee of Houston Hall at the University of Pennsylvania, for their kind invitation to Harvard men. Pennsylvania has always treated visitors from Cambridge with the utmost cordiality, and the hearty reception accorded Harvard men in Philadelphia has been a pleasant feature of past contests there between the two universities. It is a matter of regret that owing to the change of arrangements Harvard is unable this fall to take her turn as host, but a welcome opportunity will come later to make some return for the hospitality offered her this year as well as last.
The growing prominence of such social attentions in connection with athletic events speaks well for the future of intercollegiate sport.
