Paul J. Dashiel of Lehigh will be the umpire and William Langford of Trinity the referee in the Yale-Princeton game.

The Yale-Princeton intercollegiate shoot will be held December 4 at Travers Island at the traps of the New York Athletic Club.

There has been such a demand for Harvard-Pennsylvania tickets that a new block of 2400 seats has been erected at the east end of Franklin Field.

Professor James M. Crafts, who has been holding the chair of Organic Chemistry at the Institute of Technology, will succeed the late Genaral Francis A. Walker as president of that institution.

In the second round of the Cambridge Golf Club championship tournament, J. F. Curtis '99 defeated T. B. Gannet, Jr., '97 eight up and seven to play and J. G. Thorp '79 defeated Stoughton Bell L. S. eight up and six to play.

In the debate held in Perkins Hall, Boston, last night, under the auspices of the Women's Educational and Industrial Union between T. H. Russell 2nd, of Boston University Law School, and Miss Grace G. Ward, graduate of the College of Liberal Arts, for the affirmative, and F. Hendrick 1L., and Miss Maud Wood, Radcliffe '97, for the negative, the decision was given in favor of the latter. The outcome of this debate will undoubtedly have a good effect upon debating interests at Radcliffe, which now hold a lower position than seems reasonable from the showing made last night.
