PHILADELPHIA, PA., Nov. 16, 1897.- The last hard practice of the U. of P. eleven took place this afternoon. Three touchdowns and a goal from the field, the same number as yesterday, were scored against the second during the fifty minutes of play. The 'varsity goal was hardly threatened. Morice and Captain Minds were coached individually in catching the ball and running with it.
Tomorrow the eleven with seven substitutes will go to the Delaware Water Gap to practice until Friday in secret.
