This year an attempt is being made to reorganize the Harvard Rifles. Twenty-five men have already agreed to join. The first drill was held yesterday afternoon in Armory Hall.
Three years ago members of this company took the first and second prizes in the annual intercollegiate prize drill. Last year and the year before the company was less successful chiefly for financial reasons. It is hoped this year that a large number of men will join the company and make it a success. If or ganized the Rifles will enter the prize drill held in the spring between M. I. T., Amherst, and Brown.
Lieutenant Robinson will conduct drill every Tuesday and Thursday from 4.30 to 5.30 in Armory Hall, in the City Building on Mt. Auburn street. If enough men apply Lieutenant Robinson will form an extra squad to drill at some other hours.
The cost for uniform is about $13.00. A small fee for incidental expenses brings the total cost up to about $14.00.
