WILL the following men please be at Soldiers Field at 3.15 sharp to usher at the game this afternoon: W. H. Rand, E. A. Boardman, G. H. Scull, W. Woodward, H. Sayre, G. W. Thompson, E. B. Burgess, F. H. Bigelow, J. C. Rice, J. W. Edmunds.

VARSITY BASEBALL.- No practice today. Practice Thursday at 3.30 on Holmes Field. All men who were not out Tuesday, be dressed to play.

'99 FOOTBALL.- All candidates for the 99 football team be on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon, dressed to play. Every one who can play is urged to come out. The following men, whether they come out to play or not, please meet at 35 1-2 Brattle street at 7.30 tonight: Homans, Catlin, Huntington, Davis, Stowell, Brown, Stanwood, Thompson, Lloyd, Holden, Jaffray, Baldwin, Jackson, Adams, Raymond, Simpeon.

1900 Football.- All able-bodied 1900 men, not on the 'Varsity squad, be on Soldiers Field at 3.30 p. m. today.

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL.- All Freshmen backs be out to kick at 3.45. Others at 4.

ST. PAUL'S SOCIETY.- Meeting tonight in Grays 17 at 7 o'clock. All churchmen are cordially invited.

ALL men who wish to try for business positions on the Advocate should see the business manager, at Stoughton 2, as soon as possible,

ALL Freshmen not playing football, who wish to try for the Weld crew, meet in Sever 1 at 7.30 p. m. Any one who shows promise will be taken to the regular Freshman crew. All will have an equal chance, whether they have had experience or not.

TEACHERS wanted at the Prospect Union, especially for classes in bookkeeping, arithmetic, telegraphy, history, econmics, and architectural drawing; also men to give one evening per week for a few weeks to serving the Union in other ways. Please apply at 22 Grays between 10 and 11 a. m., any day this week.

PIERIAN SODALITY.- Trials of candidates Thursday and Friday, October 7 and 8, at 7 p. m., in Roberts Hall. All men playing any orchestral instrument are urged to come and bring a solo. Men playing wood or brass wind instruments are particularly urged to try.

CENTRAL NEW YORK CLUB.- A smoker will be held in 45 Matthews Hall on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 8 p. m. All members of the University who come from Central New York are cordially invited.

SHOOTING CLUB.- Meeting at 7.00 Wednesday evening, in 27 Thayer Hall. All members of the University interested in shooting are urged to be present.

PIERIAN SODALITY.- Business meeting for members after first trial on Thursday, Oct. 7.

A MEETING of the Rifle and Revolver Club will be held in Sever 8 at 5 p. m., on Friday, Oct. 8. All men interested in shooting are invited to attend.

GOLF CLUB.- Any member of the University wishing to join the Harvard Golf Club may do so by leaving the annual dues of five (5) dollars at the CRIMSON Office or by sending them to the treasurer, Stoughton Bell, 164 Brattle street.
