PI ETA SOCIETY.- Meeting at the Club House tonight, Tuesday, at 8 o'clock.

CENTRAL NEW YORK CLUB.- A smoker will be held in 45 Matthews Hall on Thursday, Oct. 7, at 8 p. m. All members of the University who come from Central New York are cordially invited.

SHOOTING CLUB.- Meeting at 7.00 Wednesday evening, in 27 Thayer Hall. All members of the University interested in shooting are urged to be present.

'VARSITY BASEBALL.- All battery candidates and the following men be dressed to play on Holmes at 3.30 sharp: Foster, Stearns, Hoyt, Chandler, Haskell, Vincent, Ewer, Clark, Litchfield, Laughlin, McVey, Burgess, Lynch, McCall, Sears, Quincy.

WELD BOAT CLUB.- There will be a meeting of the club at the boat house at 5 p. m., Wednesday.

MEN who rowed in the eight and Conroy and Sampson be at boat house at 4.30 sharp.

ALL candidates for the Weld Freshman crew be at boat house at 4 p. m. All men who show promise will be taken to the regular Freshman crew.

Richards, Savage, Alger, Mann, be at boat house at 4 p. m. All other candidates for novice fours at 5 p. m.

'VARSITY GLEE CLUB.- Meeting of officers at 8 Holyoke street, at 7 p. m., Wednesday.

ALL who played on the 1900 eleven in class games or in Penn. game meet at 35 Bow street, at 7.30 p. m., to elect captain.

ALL men who played on the '99 team, in last year's class games, meet tonight, 7.30 p. m., at 35 1-2 Brattle street, to elect a captain.

CHESS CLUB.- First meeting of the Harvard Chess Club this evening at 7 o'clock, in 31 Grays, for old members. Important business to be transacted.

'98 FOOTBALL.- All men who played in the class games last fall meet at 27 Holyoke street tonight at 7.30 to elect captain.

'VARSITY FOOTBALL.- The following men report at the training table this morning: Swain, Mills, Burden, Parker, Richardson.

CREW NOTICE.- All men excepting freshmen who wish to coxswain this year leave their names in 37 Claverly Hall, today.

PIERIAN SODALITY.- Trials of candidates Thursday and Friday, October 7 and 8, at 7 p. m., in Roberts Hall. All men playing any orchestral instrument are urged to come and bring a solo.

ALL Freshman backs be out to kick at 3.45. Others at 4.

A MEETING of the Rifle and Revolver Club will be held in Sever 8 at 5 p. m., on Friday, Oct. 8. All men interested in shooting are invited to attend.

GOLF CLUB.- Any member of the University wishing to join the Harvard Golf Club may do so by leaving the annual dues of five (5) dollars at the CRIMSON Office or by sending them to the treasurer, Stoughton Bell, 164 Brattle street.

WELD BOAT CLUB.- Beginning Thursday morning every member must positively show his membership ticket to the janitor before entering the house.
