CIVIL SERVICE REFORM CLUB.- Annual meeting Wednesday, at 7 p. m., in Lower Mass., for election of officers and admission of new members. All members of the University are urged to attend.

'VARSITY MANDOLIN CLUB.- Rehearsal Tuesday at 7 o'clock in No. 4 Stoughton. All old members and men taken on for further trial must be present.

HARVARD FORUM.- There will be an important meeting of the executive committee this evening at 7 o'clock in 32 Little's Block.

WELD BOAT CLUB.- Important meeting of the club at the boat house on Thursday at 5.30 p. m.

Meeting of the four-oar captains to draw for boats tomorrow at 5.30. Race on the 6th of November.

WELD 1901 CREW.- All men who can, be at the boat house at 3.35 sharp. All others at 4.35.

BOYLSTON CHEMICAL CLUB.- The opening lecture of the year will be given by Professor T. W. Richards in Boylston Hall this evening at 7 o'clock. The subject of the lecture will be: "Some Recent Chemical Applications of Electrical Energy." All members of the University are cordially invited to be present.

STUDENT VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE.- Mr. Birtwell will be in Grays 17 on Tuesday, from 9 to 11, to talk with men in regard to volunteer charity work.

CERCLE FRANCAIS.- Moliere's "Medecin Malgre Lui," will be given by the club in the spring. Places in the cast and ballets will be open to all members of the University properly qualified to fill them. Those wishing to try are urged to read the play before January, and to determine, if possible, what characters they would like to take. The play will be read at the meeting of the Cercle, Wednesday evening, Colonial Club, 7.30 p. m. All members of the University are invited to attend.

CATHOLIC CLUB.- Meeting Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Sever 5, at 7.30 p. m. Important business. All Catholics in the University are invited to attend.

ALL members of the University wishing to join the Harvard Athletic Association can do so at Thurston's or at 205 Craigie Hall, Mondays, 1.30-2.30. The fee is $5 for the whole college course. Freshmen are urged to join at once.
