Notice.

H. A. A.- All men who intend to enter the fall track games must be examined by Dr. Sargent before competing. Friday (today) is reserved for such examination and is the last chance for those entering the Freshman games to be examined. The Freshman games will be held Monday, October 25, and entries for the games close tonight. The 'Varsity handicap games will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, and the entries close Tuesday night. Blue-books for entries are now ready at the Gymnasium office.

FRESHMAN FOOTBALL.- All candidates be dressed promptly at 3.30.

1900 FOOTBALL.- Practice at 4 p. m. sharp. Backs at 3.45.

'99 FOOTBALL.- All out at 4 o'clock. Lloyd and Adams sure. Practice game.

'VARSITY GLEE CLUB.- Rehearsal tonight at 6.45 in Lower Dane, for old members only. All must attend.

CHESS CLUB.- The result of games played in the first round of the tournament must be left tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 23, at 31 Grays.

BROWN AND NICHOLS CLUB.- The triennial dinner of the graduates of the Brown and Nichols School will be held at Young's Hotel on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7.15. All those expecting to be present should send two dollars to R. Walcott, 11 Waterhouse street, before Nov. 1.

MEN are needed to teach in a Chinese Sunday School, which meets Sunday afternoons at the corner of Beacon and Somerset streets. The object is to teach the Chinamen to read and write. Any one who is interested may obtain information at 2 Stoughton Hall. 22 3

CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.- The Bible Class in the Greek Testament, leader Mr. J. H. Ropes, instructor, will hold its first meeting today at 3.30 p. m., in Holden Chapel.

The Bible Class in Old Testament Characters, leader Mr. G. Gleason Gr., will hold its first meeting tonight at 6.40 in 25 Stoughton.

All who are interested in either subject are invited to attend and enroll.

PROSPECT UNION.- Teachers wanted in book-keeping and photography. Also school books of all kinds. Please call at 22 Grays between 10 and 11 a. m.

ALL members of the University wishing to join the Harvard Athletic Association can do so at Thurston's or at 205 Craigie Hall, Mondays, 1.30-2.30. The fee is $5 for the whole college course. Freshmen are urged to join at once.
