Last night the following were elected officers of the Southern Club for the ensuing year: H. K. Brent '98, president; L. O. O'Brien 1L., vice-president; C. H. Ladd 1900, secretary; T. Bond '98, treasurer.
After waiting many years the Corporation succeeded during the past summer, in purchasing the Baker estate lying in the corner between Walter Hastings and the Law School. The house has been arranged as a dormitory for law students. There are nine rooms, each with a bedroom. A shower-bath is provided and the entries are heated by steam.
