'VARSITY GLEE CLUB TRIALS.- The last of the trials for the Glee Club takes place tonight at 7 o'clock in Lower Dane. Every man who can sing is urged to come and bring a solo.
1900 FOOTBALL.- All be dressed to play at 4 o'clock.
THERE will be a special meeting of the Harvard Republican Club this evening in Sever 6, at 7 o'clock. Resolutions regarding the proposed University Club will come before the meeting.

WELD 1901 CREW.- First squad at 3.30; second squad at 4.30. All men who have handed in their names must be at the boat house tomorrow at 3.30.
RECEPTION.- All students are very cordially invited to a reception to be held in the chapel of the Shepard Memorial Church, Mason street, this evening from 8 until 10. New students especially are invited to take this opportunity of meeting Dr. McKenzie and the people of his church.
MEMBERS of Harvard University wishing to join the Harvard Republican Club can do so at 42 Matthews Hall this morning between 10 and 11, or this afternoon between 2 and 3 o'clock.
GOLF CLUB.- Members who have not already received their shingles may obtain them by applying at the Crimson office.
ALL members of the University wishing to join the Harvard Athletic Association can do so at Thurston's or at 205 Craigie Hall, Mondays, 1.30-2.30. The fee is $5 for the whole college course. Freshmen are urged to join at once.
FRESHMAN FOOTBALL.- All candidates be dressed at 3.45 sharp. Everyone be on time.
BAND.- All men interested in forming a permanent band are requested to meet at 28 Hollis on Thursday evening, Oct. 21, at 7 o'clock. Business prospects good.
WELD BOAT CLUB locker keys will be redeemed only at the boat house by the janitor. No keys will be redeemed at Amee's. No keys will be redeemed after Oct. 31, and all claims for the rebate must be made in the name of the man who made the deposit.
'VARSITY MANDOLIN CLUB.- Trial for candidates will be held Thursday evening, Oct. 21, at 7 o'clock, in 11 Quincy Hall.
