OBITUARY.

Charles A. Dana '43.

The most prominent newspaper editor of the United States, Charles A. Dana, of the New York Sun, died October 17th at the age of seventy-eight. He entered Harvard with the class of '43, but was obliged to leave college at the end of his Sophomore year, on account of failing eyesight, he was subsequently given the honorary degree of A. M.
