The semi-final match between R. H. Carleton '98 and H. Foster '98 was played Saturday and resulted in a victory for Carleton, 10-8, 6-4. The play was of a high order and the match close and exciting throughout.

H. Ward 1900 beat R. McKittrick '99, 6-8, 6-3, 7-5, in a match characterized by brilliant though erratic playing. Ward's greater steadiness won him the deciding set after McKittrick had him, 4-1.

At 3.30 today the semi-finals between H. Ward 1900 and S. Pierce '98 will be played; and also the semi-finals in doubles, C. C. Stillman '98 and F. Sterling '98 vs. H. H. Shaw '99 and H. Laverack '99.
