On Friday, October 22, at 7.30 p. m., the Harvard Union will hold a competitive debate for membership in Sever 11. The subject will be: "Resolved, That the Republican party by its recent action on the tariff has forfeited its right to control the National Government."
The debate will be opened by F. O. White '99, and B. R. Robinson '98. Contestants may speak on either side of the question. Speeches will be limited to five minutes. All members of the University except Freshmen are invited to speak.
