In the Atlantic Monthly for January Professor Norton contributes an article on "The Poetry of Rudyard Kipling," and Col. T. W. Higginson, the third of his series of articles called "Cheerful Yesterdays," on life at Harvard in the Forties.
It is stated that the Pennsylvania crew management is arranging to row races with Annapolis and the University of Wisconsin next spring, in addition to the quadrangular race at Poughkeepsie. The candidates for the crew begin training this week.
By the will of the late Henry L. Pierce, a boquest of $50,000 is left to Harvard College.
