To the Editors of the Crimson:
The policy of the Class Day Committee has been, ever since a change of plans was necessary in the Tree exercises, to see what changes the Corporation would insist on, and, then, to submit the new form of exercises to the class and let them choose it or some other plan.
The reason for the postal card vote was to show the Corporation the definite opinion of the whole class in the only way that would have any weight. After the Corporation Committee has definitely agreed to the proposed scheme, there will be a class meeting in which some form of Tree exercises will be finally adopted, and the question of an extension of the period settled.
CLASS DAY COMMITTEE.
