The Christian Association will observe the day of prayer for college tomorrow by holding a special prayer meeting at half past one in Holden Chapel.
The day of prayer is an institution of long standing. Early in the present century, at a time when skepticism was wide spread and belief low, a day of prayer was instituted by the Protestant churches throughout the country. The Christian Associations in the Colleges also observe the day, and in many of them the corporation grants a holiday.
The meeting tomorrow will be led by R. S. Leypoldt Sp., and a hearty invitation is extended to all members of the University to be present.
The semi-annual election of officers of the association will be held at 6.45 in Holden Chapel. The list of nominations is at present posted on the bulletin board.
