A Change in German Courses.

Instead of German 11, on the Social and Political Tendencies in German Literature from the middle of the Eighteenth to the middle of the Nineteenth Century, Professor Francke will give a new half-course during the second half-year to be known as German 9.

The course will cover German Religious Painting and Sculpture from the Van Eycks to Albert Durer and Peter Vischer, with reference to the Religious Drama of the Fifteenth Century. It will be given Monday, Wednesday and (at the pleasure of the instructor) Friday at 3.30 p. m. The course is open to graduates and undergraduates.
