As the Freshman Crew has been rowing in last year's 'Varsity practice shell, which is somewhat heavy, for the past two weeks, no great amount of speed work has been done. Now, however, the shell in which they won the class races, which the 'Varsity has been using, is to be returned and a time row which will show whether the crew has made any progress of late will be rowed in a few days.
Yesterday, Marvin, who has a sore hand, did not row, and his place at two was taken by Swift. The crew was coached by Kales '96, as usual, and rowed in the following order:
Stroke, Boardman; 7, McDuffie; 6, Thompson; 5, Whitbeck; 4, Perklns; 3, Donald; 2, Swift; bow, Dibblee.
