About the Parade.

To the Editors of the Crimson:

After Mayor Bancroft's invitation for Harvard to join in the procession on the 3rd of June it seems to me that it would only be gentlemanly for us to accept. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose by marching. The Faculty have purposely begun the examinations one day earlier than usual and have allowed us the third of June for a holiday. It will be extremely hard for anyone to study on that day even if he was so inclined, with a procession four miles long passing under his window. This is not a personal matter which conforms with our desires. It is a duty which we owe to the city of Cambridge, and more than that to our College.
