The Harvard Union will hold a competitive debate for membership on Thursday, April 16. The subject will be, "Resolved, That the absorption of the Turkish Empire by Russia should not be opposed by other European Powers."
This is the last competition open to the entire University that will be held this year. In May the Union will hold a special competition open only to freshmen.
This week the debate will be held Thursday evening instead of Friday evening on account of Judge Grant's lecture. The subject will be "Resolved, That the present jury system should be abolished."
