Fact and Rumor.

The spring track and field sports of the University of Pennsylvania which were to be held at Philadelphia Wednesday were postponed until April 8, owing to the inclement weather.

A basket ball game was played at Dr. Sargent's gymnasium on Church street, yesterday afternoon, between the young ladies of his school and a team from Dr. Anderson's school in New Haven. Dr. Sargent's pupils won by the score of 21 to 2.

The winter term closed at Yale on Wednesday. The Glee and Banjo Clubs left at once for Old Point Comfort, where they will sing tonight, and take a trip south as far as Richmond. The baseball nine left yesterday with fourteen men, for its southern trip, playing south as far as Charlottesville, N. C.

The Princeton athletes who will compete in the Olympic Games at Athens arrived at Naples yesterday. They will start at once for Athens. All the members of the B. A. A. team stood the trip well and are in good condition. Owing to the fact that the Fulda made a slow trip from New York, the men will have a very short time in which to prepare for the games.
