The graduate committee appointed to further the University Club project has finished its work for this year, and most excellent work it has been. By their energy and untiring enthusiasm they have brought the project into definite shape. The club has changed from a vague possibility into a probability, and almost into a certainty, and this has been done within a very few months. There is little doubt now that inside of a few years a University Club will be established at Harvard, and what has been a long-cherished ideal in the hearts of many graduates will have become a reality. The unanimity with which graduates and undergraduates have backed up the scheme leaves no room for doubt of the ultimate success of the club when once it has been organized.
The result of the committee's efforts will give the greatest satisfaction to Harvard men, and graduates and undergraduates alike feel deeply grateful to those men who have given up so much of their time, and who have taken so much trouble in pushing forward this good work. On behalf of the undergraduates we extend the warmest thanks to the University Club Committee.
