On Saturday the freshman crew did their usual work on the river. The men were coached by Rust '98, while Clarke '99, acted as coxswain. All the candidates for coxswain have been dropped except Clarke, and he will probably keep that position unless Plumb '99, leaves the 'varsity. Marvin who has been rowing at seven in the freshman boat, has been with the 'varsity since last Wednesday, and his place has been taken by McDuffie.
The make-up of the crew was as folfows: Stroke, Boardman; 7, MoDuffie; 6, Thomson, Sargent; 5, Donald; 4, Mills; 3, Whitbeck, Perkins; 2, Swift, Sampson; bow, Dibblee, Holden.
