The Junior dinner promises this year to be a greater success than ever before. The preparations that have been made are most satisfactory and complete, and the event will be one to be long remembered by all the men that are there. Up to this time one hundred and twenty members of the class have signed the blue-book, which is a decided improvement over last year at the same time, but this number is much below that which the committee expects will be at the dinner. It has been shown by experience that a very large number of men sign the books during the two or three days directly preceding the dinner; and this is what the committee is now relying on. Last year over two hundred men were present at the Junior dinner, which was a great gain over the year before. In order to secure the permanent success of the dinner as an institution in the College it is necessary that each year the number of men who attend shall be as great or greater than the year before.
