On account of the stormy weather, the candidates for the lacrosse team practiced yesterday in the gymnasium cage. Several of the new men are showing up well and the outlook for the team is encouraging. Captain Scott is at present coaching the candidates.
Besides the games with Princeton and Cornell already arranged, challenges have been received from Johns Hopkins, Lehigh, College of the City of New York, Stephens Institute, Crescent Athletic Club, Boston Lacrosse Club, and Beachmont Lacrosse Club. The schedule of games will probably be ready in two weeks. The season will commence about the first of May and continue six weeks.
