The latest acquistion to the Fogg Museum is a fine cast of the Pieta of St. Peters in Rome by Michael Angelo. This cast is now on view in the Michael Angelo room, and near it is hung a large carbon photograph taken from the marble. From the two a very just idea of this important early work by the great master may be obtained.
The greater part of the photographs thus far received is now catalogued, and is accessible to members of the University on application to the Curator.
