It is doubtless unnecessary to call the attention of students to the announcement of Professor Trowbridge's lecture which appears in another column. The interest taken in the recent experiments of Professor Trowbridge in cathode ray photography has been widespread, and it is safe to predict that the seating capacity of the Jefferson Physical Laboratory will be severely tested at the first lecture on this subject this evening. Interest in the work of Professor Trowbridge has not been confined to the University by any means. The whole scientific world has watched with attention the results of his experiments with this wonderful kind of light. The lecture tonight will be made doubly entertaining by stereopticon illustrations.
