A boat race has been arranged to take place next spring between the crew of the United States Naval Academy and the second 'varsity crew of Cornell. It is proposed to hold the race May 15 at Annapolis.
Byron S. Watson '97 has been elected captain of the Brown ice polo team. Two of last year's team graduated with '96, but from the material at hand it is probable that a team fully as good as that of last year can be found.
The new indoor track of the University of Pennsylvania beneath the grand stand on Franklin Field has been completed. The track is made entirely of cinders so that it will not harden in cold weather. There are two 100 yard straightaways and a take-off and pit for broad jumpers.
